Community Engagement and Transparency

Building Trust Through Transparent and Inclusive Engagement

Trust is the cornerstone of effective public service. As your Fire Commissioner, I am committed to fostering a transparent and inclusive relationship between Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and our community.GovPilot+2ICMA+2The Guardian+2

To achieve this, I propose the following initiatives:

  • Regular Town Halls and Public Forums: Hosting accessible meetings to discuss district initiatives, gather feedback, and address community concerns.College of Western Idaho

  • Community Surveys and Feedback Channels: Implementing tools to collect input from residents, ensuring diverse voices are heard and considered in decision-making processes.

  • Transparent Communication: Providing regular updates on district operations, policies, and changes through multiple platforms to keep the community informed.

  • Inclusive Outreach Programs: Engaging with underrepresented groups to ensure equitable participation and representation in our services and planning.

By prioritizing open communication and active community involvement, we can build a fire district that not only serves but also reflects the values and needs of its residents.
